Shoulder Rehabilitation Package: An injury that we frequently treat is the shoulder pain that just continues to nag you and will not go away! Knee Rehabilitation Package: Knees! We often don’t realize how much we use and need them to accomplish all the things we do each day until it becomes painful to us. Common areas of knee pain include lateral knee pain (that can extend from the hip to the ankle), anterior knee pain (around the kneecap), and even pain behind the knee. There are many structures in the knee that can cause various symptoms; we will screen for injuries, offer recommendations, and/or modify treatment as necessary.
However, as with the shoulder joint, by re-examining the biomechanics of movement at the knee to discover key muscular imbalances, much of the pain can often be reduced. It usually doesn’t take a major movement or change in activity – just a different focus and slight shift in alignment to get the proper muscles back on board! Once the concept is understood and reinforced with specific stretching and exercises, patients can return to activity with much less pain (or without any pain at all) and have the added bonus of feeling stronger!
