Lauren has been a successful and very reputable therapist on Maui in outpatient orthopedic clinics since 2009. She is someone that doctors trust to send their patients to for high quality, effective, and compassionate care. She was a scholarship athlete on the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Division I Varsity Volleyball Team while earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and then a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University Mesa AZ.  She has advanced manual therapy training for spinal and peripheral conditions. Her manual therapy comes from extensive continuing education in the following methods: Paris, Maitland, Fascial Distortion Method, NAIOMPT and McKenzie. She focuses on the biomechanical model applying her knowledge of kinesiology, physiology, and anatomy to assess where the fault in the system is and how to best treat it through manual therapy and exercise. In addition, she has years of experience of treating and working in college level athletic training rooms prior to moving to Maui in 2009. Lauren uses her diversity to treat a wide array of patients determined to improve physical well-being through self-empowerment and the healing touch. She continues to be active in sports including surfing, workout/strength classes, and the occasional sprint triathlon. She is inspired by the people she works with and can understand and empathize the desire to get back to the quality of life they desire.
