Treatment that On Point Physical Therapy Provides

On Point Physical Therapy provides manual therapy techniques including Joint Mobility, Myofascial Release, Soft Tissue Massage, Cross Friction Massage, Passive Range of Motion, Facilitation of Movement, Distraction, Traction and more!  We have taken specialty training in the following techniques:

 

  • Paris Method
  • Maitland Method
  • NAIOMPT
  • McKenzie Method
  • Fascial Distortion Model (FDM)

 

Additional Treatment can Include:

 

  • Therapeutic Exercise: Exercises designed and specifically prescribed for the patient to address the functional limitation at hand.  Exercises are catered to the needs of the patient based on their pain, healing time, and goals.  These are done with collaboration of the patient to allow for maximal potential of not only success but also to increase compliance with doing them on days not in session. 
  • Neuromuscular Reeducation: Activities can vary from exercise that can be active, passive, or facilitated/assisted with the ultimate goal of improving motor control thru neuromuscular rewiring. Our motor programing can be thrown askew from injury, trauma, neurological events, or just poor habits over a long period of time. The purpose of these activites are to correct and continue on with a more functional pattern and life.
